CTC active at FORUM ON FOOD WASTE 2014

The Clean Technology Centre will be active at the  FORUM ON FOOD WASTE 2014

THURSDAY 11TH & FRIDAY 12TH DECEMBER
SMOCK ALLEY THEATRE, DUBLIN

Through its work with Stop Food Waste, the Local Authority Prevention Network  Green Business Programme and Green Healthcare Programme, CTC will be active at this event.

The aim of this event is to discuss and explore ideas for collective solutions to how Ireland can make a realistic effort to reduce food waste by 30% by 2025.

The Future for Food Waste in Ireland…
Food waste is an issue that affects all aspects of society in Ireland – producers, growers, retail, hospitality, consumers and those who experience food poverty. Through preventing food waste, and becoming more efficient in using what we have, Ireland can reduce the environmental impacts associated with food waste, improve the financial performance of businesses and householders alike, and help those who struggle on a daily basis to put food on the table.
