Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise Energy and Waste Awareness Day.
CTC took part in a successful awareness day at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, along with the hospital green team, the HSE’s Climate Action and Sustainability Office, SEAI, and Laois County Council. The awareness stands were in the main foyer in the hospital and engagement took place with a large number of staff from many different roles in the hospital. There were two food waste reduction training sessions with catering department staff carried out by CTC under the Green Healthcare programme as part of the day.
