CTC assisting Clare County Council to Green the Fleadh

The Clean Technology Centre, CTC is assisting Clare County Council to Green the Fleadh 2016 in Ennis.

CTC is assisting in providing advice to Clare County Council and local businesses as to how they reduce the environmental impact of this major event.

Waste Prevention must be kept in mind‘ says Karen Foley, Clare County Council in a radio interview. Karen urges people to use the recycling bins and turn off lights and taps to reduce the amount of resources being used during the Fleadh. Karen also explains how the business community is responding very well to the Greening of the Fleadh.

Much of this work is supported by the Environmental Protection Agency’s Green Business and LAPN programmes.

The Fleadh runs from the 14th to the 22nd August.
